Hi! My name is Ms. Hanh-Nhi Pham and I so fortunate to have your child and your family in my life! My first time in Kindergarten was a magical one. I remember how joyous and exciting it was to learn and experience new things. Since then, it has been a dream of mine to become a teacher. I am so grateful that this has come into fruition. I grew up in Eastside San Jose, where I attended San Jose State University and earned both my undergraduate and teaching credential in Communication Studies and Education. This previous summer, I earned my Masters Degree in Education & Curriculum at Concordia University. This will be my 9th year in education and my third year at Lakewood Elementary. Before I was a Lakewood Lion, I was a Kindergarten teacher for 5 years and then served as an Assistant Principal at a charter school in Eastside San Jose. As an educator, I enjoy making fun academic raps and dances to boogie on down with my students! I am passionate about creating an inclusive classroom which promotes equity and celebrates diversity. Empowering our little ones to become social justice leaders is possible, even at five! Aside from teaching, I also love to travel. This gives me an opportunity to experience new cultures and meet amazing people. I am vegan so I do not eat meat or any animal products. This makes cooking and finding new vegan dishes fun and exciting! I also enjoy crafting and creating things for the people I love. Lastly, I have a cute dog named Poops who I love to go on hiking adventures with. I am so excited to have a year full of exploration, joy, and a love of learning! In this class, we are friends, teammates, creators, artists, explorers, authors, leaders, thinkers, world changers, heroes, and a family! This world is an incredible place and it's ours to explore!
