Dear K3 ,
I hope this note finds you all well. These last few weeks have been full of uncertainty, but I hope this note can bring some clarity to cut through that uncertainty. Over the next few weeks, we’re going to have the opportunity to engage in a distance learning project together. Like many schools all across the country, this project is new to us. We see it as an opportunity to learn about new ways for students to learn and communicate, and to engage with new forms of technology that enable learning in contexts outside of the classroom. However, this is both new and sudden. That means that we will all be learning together. There will be things that are great. We should keep and build on those. There will be moments that are rocky and confusing. We should address any problems that arise, and learn from those moments. Through it all, we’ll get the most out of this experience if we prioritize:
Here’s how we will be connecting and meeting up.
I’m confident that with some hard work and flexibility, along with prioritizing communication, connection, and clarity, we can make this a successful time of learning for our students. Please reach out if you have any questions! Love, Ms. Pham |
